The local landfill is residents-only
The Blue Mountains Landfill & Recycling Depot on Grey County Road 13 near Clarksburg is marked as being for residents of The Blue Mountains only, and its listed hours are limited to a few days a week. If you own a chalet but live elsewhere, or you're short on time, a pickup avoids the question entirely.
Chalets, condos and rental units
Many properties here are vacation homes or rental units, and furniture gets replaced often. Condo and townhome complexes often have rules about elevator bookings, loading areas and moving hours, so tell us the building or complex name when you request a quote and we'll plan around it.
The Town licenses short-term accommodations and limits new ones to designated areas, so owners who run rentals tend to keep units refreshed between seasons. We can clear old beds, sofas and kitchen items during a turnover. See cottage, chalet and rental cleanouts.
Renovation leftovers
Chalet renovations leave behind cabinets, flooring, drywall offcuts and old fixtures. If a bin won't fit on a tight driveway or a condo lot, a single truckload pickup is often simpler. More on renovation debris removal.
